Faculty Description

S.Vigneshwaran completed his Bachelors Degree in B.E. Biomedical Engineering from P.S.G. College of Technology, Coimbatore in the year 2013 and completed his Masters Degree in M.E. Applied Electronics from Kongu Engineering College, Erode in the year 2015.He is pursuing his Ph.D. with Specialization in Nano-composites for Biomedical Applications from Anna University, Tamil Nadu. He was an Innovation Ambassador of MoE Institution Innovation Council (IIC). As an Innovation Ambassador with a passion for cutting-edge solutions and transformative change, he is dedicated to driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of innovation at SREC. With a deep understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies, he actively lead initiatives to identify new opportunities, optimize processes, and inspire cross-functional collaboration. He has a total of 11 years of experience in teaching Biomedical Engineering. His areas of interest are Nano-composites for Biomedical Applications.His research area is Mxene/Tricalcium Phosphate/Noble Metals Nano-composites for cancer and wound  Applications. He has received grants from CSIR, DHR-ICMR,DST-NIMAT, Department of Atomic Energy(DAE) and Indian National Science Academy (INSA) around Rs. 3 Lakhs for organizing various seminars, workshops and conferences. He had published 4 international journals, 4 international conference, 2 book chapters in peer reviewed journals and reputed publishers. He is a life member in Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Biomedical Engineering Society of India (BMESI).He has completed NPTEL course with elite certification on Biomechanics of joints and Orthopaedic Implants, NBA Accreditation and Teaching and Learning in Engineering (NATE), Medical Image Analysis, Characterization of Polymers, Elastomers and Composites, Techniques of Materials Characterization and Research Methodology and IPR.
