Dr. J. ANITHA

Faculty Description

Dr. J. Anitha is currently working as Associate Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. She completed her Ph.D in the faculty of Information Communication & Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2016. She obtained her Master's Degree in Software Engineering from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore in 2008 and completed her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Amrita Institute of Technology and Science (presently Amrita University), Coimbatore in 2000. Her teaching and industry experience spans over 17 years and she has guided many UG/PG projects. She holds responsibility at institution level as College SPoC of Infosys Campus Connect program. Her research and teaching interests include Data Mining, Data Science and Machine Learning. She has participated in and organized various seminars, Guest Lectures, Workshops and FDPs. She has published in National/International conferences in Data Mining. She is a reviewer in Advances in Science, Technology and Engineering Systems Journal and Journal of Ambient Intelligence and Humanized Computing. She is a life member of ISTE and CSI. She has been awarded with Inspire-Infosys Campus Connect Faculty Excellence Award - Silver Level in 2017. She has completed the BEC preliminary certification examination with Distinction.
