Mrs. S. PRINCE SAHAYA BRIGHTY

Faculty Description

Mrs. S. Prince Sahaya Brighty is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. She is pursuing her Ph.D in Anna university,Chennai. She completed her Masters (with Distinction)  in Computer Science and Engineering(2013) from  Kumaraguru College of Technology,Coimbatore(Anna University,Chennai). She Completed B.E(with Distinction) in Computer Science and Engineering(2005) from Noorul Islam College of Engineering, Nagercoil (Anna University,Chennai).

She has over 17 years of teaching experience. Her research specialization includes AI & Machine Learning, Data Science, and Computer Vision. She has submitted proposals to various funding agencies such as TNSCST, DST, SERB, and ICMR. She has published approximately 23 papers in reputable international journals such as Springer, IEEE, and at international and national conferences. She received the Best Paper Award at a Springer International Conference and has been honored with the Topper Award and Best Performing Mentor Award in NPTEL. She holds copyrights for laboratory manuals and has received a patent grant for her projects. She has supervised around 25 undergraduate and postgraduate projects. She has organized numerous seminars, workshops, and guest lectures. She has attended 18 Faculty Development Programmes/STTP at reputed institutions like NIT Warangal and NIT Calicut. Additionally, she has participated in Foundation Programs and Workshops in her area of expertise at renowned industries such as Infosys,TCS and Cognizant Technology Solutions. She is a lifetime member of CSI, IRACST, and IAENG. She is also a certified Professional in British English Course (BEC).
