Faculty Description

Mrs. P. Sugantha Priyadharshini is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. She obtained her Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering (2008) from Adhiparasakthi Engineering College (Anna University), Melmaruvathur. She obtained her Masters in Computer Science and Engineering (2011) from Kumaraguru College of Technology (Anna University), Coimbatore. Her career objective is to handle challenging roles that would give her an opportunity to implement her knowledge and skills for the professional growth of the organization. She has 14 years of academic experience. She has actively engaged in consultancy projects with renowned entities such as Roots Industries India Limited, Coimbatore, IFFEN-VR Information Technology and Services, France, GE Healthcare and Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU). She has submitted proposals in various funding agencies like TNSCST, ISRO, ICSSR, DST, SERB, ATAL, INSA and ICMR. She has published 8 papers in reputed international journals such as Inderscience, Springer and Scopus Indexed Journals. She has been awarded as Young Women in Engineering by Venus International Foundation.

She has received the Best paper award in the International Conference and received the topper award, best performing mentor award and Discipline Star Award in NPTEL. She has been a mentor and title winner in Smart India Hackathon 2022. She has also published 12 papers in National Conferences and International Conferences. She has organized and attended various workshops and short-term courses in her areas of expertise. She has received copyrights for Software project and laboratory manuals. She is specialized in the area of Image Processing, Deeping Learning and AR/VR. She is a life member of CSI, ISTE, IACSIT and IAENG.
