Faculty Description

Ms. S. Sathya completed her postgraduate degree, M.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, in 2025. She obtained her undergraduate degree, B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering, from the same institution in 2023. She has around one year of teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College.

Her areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Deep Learning (DL). She has presented several research papers at national and international conferences, earning recognition such as Best Paper and Best Paper Presenter awards. She contributed to academic literature by co-authoring a book chapter on the application of IoT in precision agriculture, published in the first edition of Digital Technologies and Tools for Smart Agriculture.

She was an integral part of a student team that received the Best Project Award at a state-level hackathon for developing a community support system to enhance travel safety, for which they were awarded a cash prize of ₹10,000, presented by a government minister. She also received the Paradigm Shifter Special Prize, along with a cash award of ₹2,000, in a 24hour hackathon for proposing a blockchain-based solution to enhance the security of democratic voting systems. Furthermore, she has successfully completed and attended various Faculty Development Programmed at IIT Roorkee and has earned multiple certifications in her field.
