Mr. Gaurab Mudbhari is an Assistant Professor (OG) in
the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Sri
Ramakrishna Engineering College. He holds an M.E. in
Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (2023–2025) with
First Class with Distinction, and a B.E. in Computer
Science and Engineering (2018–2022), both from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering
College. Prior to his current academic role, he contributed as a Django
Developer at an E-Governance company in Nepal.
He is an active researcher in Artificial
Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Image Processing, with notable contributions
to deep learning frameworks for image segmentation, face restoration, real-time
emotion detection, and intelligent system design. He has presented at leading
conferences, including the National Conference on Bigdata Analysis (NCBA-24),
where he showcased his paper "A Big Data-Driven Deep Learning Framework
for Real-Time Medical Image Segmentation," and the 2nd International
Conference on Cognitive Computing and Artificial Intelligence, presenting on
leveraging Vision Transformers for real-time emotion detection in retail
environments.
Gaurab has authored a book chapter, currently in
press, titled "Beyond Encryption: Generative AI," for the Wiley– Scrivener
edited volume, highlighting the transformative role of AI in modern encryption
systems. He has successfully completed several specialist programs, including
"Natural Language Processing with Deep Learning" (E&ICT Academy,
NIT Patna/Jamshedpur, MeitY), and AICTE-ATAL Faculty Development Programs on
"Deep Learning Intelligent Video Analytics and Computer Vision" and
"A Step-by-Step Guide to Write a Good Research Paper." He is a
certified member of the IEEE Computer Society (Graduate Student Member, 2025).
Demonstrating excellence in competitive innovation,
he secured the Best Project Award (₹10,000) at UYIR Hackathon 2025 for leading
the "Community Support System for Safe Travel by Identifying Road
Hazards," and won the PARADIGM SHIFTER special category prize at the
Vihansha Hackathon for a blockchain-based online voting system.
His technical proficiency is reinforced by industry
certifications such as "Fundamentals of Deep Learning" and
"Building Real-Time Video AI Applications"
from NVIDIA, as well as comprehensive training in C-Programming,
Data Security with Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Privacy
& Security in Online Social Media (NPTEL, IISc/IIIT
Hyderabad). He has also completed project work on
“Hand Tracking and Controlling Computer Cursor Using Image Processing,” which
was published in Scopus-indexed conference, demonstrating practical expertise
in humancomputer interaction using deep learning and vision techniques.
Gaurab Mudbhari's core research interests include
generative AI, computer vision, medical imaging, real-time intelligent systems,
and the integration of deep learning models for robust and transparent decision
applications.
