Dr. N. Geetha is currently serving as an Associate Professor
in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at
Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College. She completed her
B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from the
University of Madras in 1999, and her M.Tech. in
Information Technology from Anna University Regional
Campus, Coimbatore in 2009. She obtained her Ph.D. in
Information and Communication Engineering from Anna
University, Chennai in 2020.
She has nearly one year of industrial experience and about 18
years of teaching experience in higher education. Her
academic career includes serving as an Assistant Professor in
the Department of CSE at SNS College of Engineering for
approximately two and half years and around 15 years as
Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the Departments of
CSE/IT at Coimbatore Institute of Technology. Her research
interests include Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, and
Information Retrieval. She has published around 20 technical
and research papers in national and international conferences
and reputed international journals, including Springer,
Elsevier book chapters, and IEEE conference publications.
She has also delivered invited lectures at several reputed
institutions. She has successfully organized inter-collegiate
national-level hackathons in collaboration with industry
partners and has filed a patent titled Enhanced Security for
Data Transmission over a Computer Network. She has
carried out an industry-collaborative project with PRD Rigs
and serves as a peer reviewer for international conferences and journals. She has also submitted research proposals to
national funding agencies such as Science and Engineering
Research Board (SERB) and Indian Council of Social
Science Research (ICSSR).She is a professional member of
Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). She has
organized AICTE- and TEQIP-funded short-term courses in
Big Data Analytics and Machine Learning, and has
coordinated several industry-collaborative workshops and
seminars in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Cyber
security, and ERP systems.
