Faculty Description

Dr.V.Rukkumani has received her Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore in the year 2004. Upon graduation she started her career as Lecturer in Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore in 2005. She has received her Master's degree in VLSI Design from Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore in 2009. She received her Ph.D. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in the year 2015.

Presently, she is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore. She has 17 years 4 months of experience in teaching. Her research interests are VLSI Design, Transducers and Industrial Instrumentation. She is the member of  IEEE, Life member of ISTE and ISOI. She has published 32 technical papers in International Journals, 13 International Conferences and 15 National Conferences. She has attended many workshops, seminars and Faculty training programmes.

          She has received Best Faculty Award for her excellence in teaching and research from Nehru Group of Institutions, Coimbatore in the academic year 2019-2020. Also, she has received young scholar and Educator award from NFED, Coimbatore, Young Scientist - Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Award in the year 2018, Marina Labs, Chennai Received Best Paper Award in International Conference on Research Techniques in Engineering conducted by International Society for Scientific Research and Development(ISSRD), Bangalore.
