Faculty Description

I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies (MBA) at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, an autonomous institution affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Since January 2026, bringing a combination of academic teaching experience and diverse industry exposure across finance, marketing, and business development. I am an MBA graduate from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (Autonomous), Coimbatore, with a specialization in Finance and Marketing, and a B.Com (Computer Applications) from SNR Sons College (Autonomous), Coimbatore. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Marketing at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore.

Before joining Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, D. Nanee served as an Assistant Professor in the PG & Research Department of International Business at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts & Science, Coimbatore. The career journey also includes industry roles spanning multiple sectors — as a Senior Assistant in the diamond department of a jewellery manufacturing firm at Emerald Jewellery Industry India Ltd, a Purchase & Supply In-Charge at Sri Dairy Farms, a Business Development Executive in plastics manufacturing at Suba Plastics Pvt. Ltd, and a Customer Relationship Officer in finance and insurance sales at an automotive showroom, Mercedes Benz Daimler Financial Services India Pvt. Ltd. This blend of corporate and academic experience brings practical, industry-relevant perspectives into the classroom. D. Nanee has authored and co-authored over twenty publications in edited volumes, book chapters, and conference proceedings. Research interests include corporate social responsibility, sustainable finance, insurance innovation and ethics, green marketing, technological innovation in business, and the use of ICT tools in higher education. This body of work has appeared in national and international conference proceedings and edited academic volumes on themes ranging from gender empowerment and social justice to fintech and sustainability. D. Nanee is a member of the International Institute for Academic Research & Development and the All India Professors Group, reflecting continued engagement with the broader academic research community.
