The AR/VR Research Laboratory (Centre of Excellence on AR/VR) is equipped with one AR Vuforia Studio Starter on-Premises license (supporting up to 20 users), one AR Vuforia Creo Illustrate Standard Locked License, two Oculus Quest 2 (128 GB) headsets, one Microsoft HoloLens 2 Standard Edition with 4 GB LPDDR4x system DRAM, and 24 high-performance desktop systems powered by Intel Core i7 processors with 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, and 19.5-inch LED monitors. The laboratory serves as a dedicated research and innovation facility for the design, development, testing, and deployment of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) applications, supporting student projects, faculty research, funded research initiatives, industry collaborations, consultancy assignments, and technology development activities in immersive computing.
