Faculty Description

Dr. N. Srimath is currently working as Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He obtained B.E. in Mechanical Engineering in the year 2000 from Kongu Engineering College (Bharathiyar University) and completed his M.E. in Engineering Design from 1998 Kongu Engineering College (Bharathiyar University). He completed his Ph.D. in 2013 from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore (Anna University).

He has 20 years of teaching experience. He has served as a resource person for courses in Engineering Design for other Engineering Colleges and successfully completed consultancy assignments in Engineering Design for companies in Coimbatore. He has delivered guest lectures in many Engineering Colleges. He has applied patents in the field of welding. He has published 14 articles in reputed International Journals such as Springer, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, etc. He has also published 18 articles in reputed National & International Conferences and has received 5 best article awards. He is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education and Indian Welding Society.
