Dr. N. Srimath

Faculty Description

Dr. N. Srimath is currently working as Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He obtained B.E. in Mechanical Engineering in the year 1998 from Kongu Engineering College (Bharathiyar University) and completed his M.E. in Engineering Design from 2000 Kongu Engineering College (Bharathiyar University). He completed his Ph.D. in 2013 from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore (Anna University).

He has 28 years of teaching experience. He has served as a resource person for courses in Engineering Design for other Engineering Colleges and successfully completed consultancy assignments in Engineering Design for companies in Coimbatore. He has delivered guest lectures in many Engineering Colleges. He has applied patents in the field of welding. He has published 14 articles in reputed International Journals such as Springer, Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, etc. He has also published 28 articles in reputed National & International Conferences and has received 5 best article awards. He is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education and Indian Welding Society, Indian Welding Society, Indian Society for Heating Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers and Institute of Engineer.
