Faculty Description

Dr. N. Senthilkannan completed his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Anna University, Chennai. He completed his ME degree in Industrial Engineering at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Bharathiar University in the year 2001. He completed his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Bharathiar University in the year 1999. He has a Post Graduate diploma in Automotive Engineering from the Coventry University, UK. He holds 11.5 years of teaching experience and 7.5 years of Industrial experience out of which 6.5 years in the UK.

He has published 3 research papers in the reputed international journals and published about 6 articles in the international and national conferences.  He has organized 3 National conferences and 4 workshops. He is a life member of ISTE, IIIE, International Association of Engineers (IAENG) and International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT). He received ISTE best Students chapter faculty advisor award for Engineering colleges for the year 2016, ISTE Best Chapter award for Tamilnadu section for the Year 2018 and ISTE Best Student Chapter award for Tamilnadu and Pondicherry section for the Year 2019.

He is a peer reviewer in International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management, Emerald Insight Publishers. His research interest includes Lean Manufacturing, MCDM techniques and Quality Engineering. He has received a grant of Rs.30,000 from CSIR for conducting a workshop.
