Faculty Description

Mr. N. R. Karthik is currently working as Assistant Professor (Sr.Gr) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College. He completed his B.E. (First Class) in Mechanical Engineering from M. Kumarasamy College of Engineering, Karur (Anna University) in the year 2008. He completed M.E. (First Class) in CAD from Government Engineering College, Salem (Anna University) in the year 2011. He is currently pursuing his doctorate in Anna University under the guidance of Dr. J. Yoganandh, Associate Professor/Mech, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College. He has 9 years of teaching experience in Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College.

His research interests include Coating of materials and Industrial Automation. He has attended a few International and National Conferences, Faculty Development Program, workshops and seminars at various reputed Institutions.

He has organized workshops, guest lectures, symposiums, etc., He has mentored students innovative project titled Single seater winch mechanism for wind mill maintenance and won first prize (Rs.3 lakh) in Techgium 17- National level project contest conducted by LT Technologies, Bangalore. He is working in a few industrial consultancy projects for reputed industries like LT Defence, Bimetal Bearings pvt. Ltd, T.Stanes Co, etc.,
