Faculty Description

Dr. S. Omprakasam is currently working as Assistant Professor (Sr.G) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College. He completed his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Sasurie College of Engineering, Erode Dt. (Anna University) in the year 2009. He completed M.E. Welding Technology from Government College of Engineering, Salem (Anna University) in the year 2012. Doctorate in Anna University under the guidance of Dr. K. Marimuthu, Professor/Coimbatore Institute of Technology. He has 11.9 years of teaching experience in Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College.

            His research interests include Welding Metallurgy. He has attended a few International and National Conferences, Faculty Development Program, workshops and seminars at various reputed Institutions. He has delivered guest lecturers in Industry and few engineering colleges.
