Dr. M.R.M. KRISHNAPPA

Faculty Description

Dr.M.RM.Krishnappa is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Physics,  Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore. He obtained his B.Sc. Degree in Physics from Chickkanna Government Arts College, Tirupur affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 1992.  He received his M.Sc. Degree in Physics from Annamalai University, Chidambaram in 1994 and his M. Phil Degree in Physics from Sri Poondi Pushpam College, Thanjavur affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Trichy in 1996. He joined Maharaja Engineering College, Avinashi, Coimbatore as a lecturer in 1996. He then joined the Physics division of Science and Humanities Department, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore in 2000 and from then onwards he has been teaching undergraduate students of Engineering and Technology.  He has 28 years of teaching experience.

His research interest includes Experimental Electro-chemical Deposition, Crystal Growth and Spectroscopy.  He has published eighteen papers in National and International journals and Conferences. He has published six books to cater the needs of Engineering students. He is a life member of Electro chemical Society of India and ISTE.

He has obtained his M.A. - Yoga for Human Excellence Degree from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in 2015. He has represented Bharathiar University cricket team  and Annamalai University cricket team  and participated in the inter university cricket tournaments and all India inter zone cricket tournaments while doing B.Sc. and M.Sc. Degree programmes.
