Faculty Description

Dr. S. Deivanayaki holds her decades-long career in teaching as an Assistant Professor (Sl.Gr) in the Department of Physics, Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore. In the year 1991, she secured her B.Sc. Degree in Physics from G.V.G Visalakshi College of Arts and Science College, Udumalpet affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. She obtained a Master's Degree in Physics from Government Arts College, Coimbatore in 1993 followed by an M. Phil Degree in Physics from Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore in 1996. In order to explore her interests in the growing trends of science and also to probe into her innate thirst for experimental analyses and researches, she ventured on a passionate journey to pursue a Ph.D. in the field of Conducting Polymer Nanocomposites from the same institution she had secured her M. Phil, and as a reflection of her works, she was acknowledged and awarded the doctoral degree in 2013. When quantified based on the time period, she has about 28 years of experience in teaching which is a cumulative result of her years in Polytechnic and Engineering institutions, inclusive of the 18 years of research experience. Indeed, she continues to set out on voyages on her multi-faceted areas of interest that include studies on Conducting Polymer nanocomposites, Hybrid films, and Solar cell applications and to testify this fact, she has 20 International papers to her credit including 15 journals published with a commendable Scopus Index. She is a recognized research supervisor under Anna University, Chennai. She has been accredited with the role of reviewer in International journals such as: MSSP (Elsevier), IPOL (Springer), Express Polymer Letters, Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics (JMSE) and Editorial Board member in International Journals of Blue Eyes Intelligence.
