Mrs. B. LALITHAMANI

Faculty Description

     Mrs. B.Lalithamani is currently working as Assistant Professor(Sr.G)  in the  Department of Chemistry at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering  College. She obtained her M.Phil., Chemistry in the year 2006, M.Sc.,Chemistry in 2001 and B.Sc., Chemistry in 1999 from PSGR Krishnammal College For Women, affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. She is pursuing her Ph.D in the area of Electrochemistry at PSG College of Technology, affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. She is also pursuing M.Sc., Yoga for Human Excellence through distance education from Bharathidasan University, Trichy. She started her career as Lecturer in Chemistry at Hindusthan College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore in the year 2003. Later she joined PSGR Krishnanmmal College for Women, Coimbatore in the year 2006 and Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College in the year 2008. She has nearly 15 years of teaching experience.

     Her areas of interest includes electrochemistry and organic chemistry. She has attended  various Workshops, National/ International conferences and Seminars. She is efficient in handling instruments like FT-IR,UV-VIS and Electrochemical workstation.
