Faculty Description

Dr. Leggins Abraham is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Prior to this, he was a DST INSPIRE Fellow in the Department of Nanoscience and Technology at the same institution. He received his Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai, in 2019. His research has gained international recognition, with one of his publications being featured on the cover page of Colloids and Surfaces A: Physicochemical and Engineering Aspects. He has also actively participated in several externally funded and industry-sponsored research projects. Dr. Abraham's research interests include soft matter physics, nanomaterials, materials science, bio-nanomaterials, renewable energy materials, and the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence in nanotechnology and materials research. He has authored numerous research articles in reputed, high-impact international journals published by IEEE, Elsevier, Springer Nature, Wiley, and other leading publishers. He is a recognized Ph.D. supervisor under Anna University and is currently guiding two doctoral scholars in advanced areas of materials science and nanotechnology. With a strong commitment to research, innovation, and academic excellence, Dr. Abraham continues to contribute significantly to interdisciplinary research and the development of next-generation technologies.
