Unlocking the code: Escape Room SQL Adventure

Mr. Arikaran R, Azure Data Engineer at Deloitte, led a gamified session on SQL for the students. The session was presided over by Dr. V. Karpagam, Prof & Head / AI&DS, who introduced Mr. Arikaran and emphasized the importance of learning key subjects through engaging methods.

During the session, Mr. Arikaran provided a brief revision of basic SQL query syntax and concepts. The students were then divided into teams and participated in a quiz on the Quizziz platform. They were tasked with performing queries on a provided SQL database and submitting their answers to earn points across 10 questions.

The interactive format made the learning experience enjoyable and engaging. At the end of the session, Mr. Arikaran was honored with a memento, presented by Dr. V. Karpagam, Prof & Head/ AI&DS. Overall, it was an interesting and effective way to learn SQL.
