Dr. B. KANIMOZHI

Faculty Description

         Dr. B. Kanimozhi is currently working as Assistant Professor in the department of Mathematics. She received her Ph.D. in Mathematics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore in the year 2022. She obtained her Master of Philosophy in Mathematics from PSG college of Arts and Science, Coimbatore affiliated to Bharathiar University in 2014 and her Master’s in Mathematics from PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore affiliated to Bharathiar University in 2012. She has graduated in Education from Bharathi College of Education affiliated to Tamilnadu Teacher’s Education University, Chennai in 2010. She completed her Bachelor’s in Mathematics from PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore affiliated to Bharathiar University in the year 2009. Her area of expertise is convection of hybrid nanofluids, Computational Fluid Dynamics.

She was the Principal Investigator of the research project titled “Thermocapillary driven convection of an electrically conducting nanofluid in an annular enclosure” which was funded under Women Scientist Scheme-A (WOS-A), by Department of Science and Technology (DST), India with a total project cost of Rs. 19,45,000/- from 2019-2022.

She has 2 years of teaching experience and 6 years of research experience. She has published 6 research articles in International Science Citation Indexed journals. She has presented her research works in 8 International Conferences. She has also participated in various Conferences, Workshops, Seminars at National and International levels.
