Webinar on Nanotechnology in Forestry Research

The Department of Nano Science and Technology organized a webinar on "Nanotechnology in Forestry Research" on 29^th July 2022. The webinar was effectively conducted by Dr. N. Senthilkumar, Scientist F & Head, Chemistry and Bioprospecting Division, Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding, Coimbatore. The session focused on "Bioprospecting of forest resources and the role of Nano Science and Technology in forestry research." Approximately 100 participants from various academic institutions in Tamilnadu and other states actively participated in the webinar. The feedback received from the participants was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their appreciation for the valuable insights gained from the webinar. Overall, the webinar was a great success and significantly contributed to the knowledge and skills of the participants. Most of the participants are looking forward to organizing more events of this nature in the future.
