Dr. E. Sarojini

Faculty Description

Dr. E. Sarojini, Professor and Head, was awarded her Doctorate in Anna University, Chennai in the field of Civil Engineering in the year 2011. She completed her M.E. degree in first class in the specialization of Environmental Engineering in the year 1999 and she finished B.E. Civil Engineering in first class in the year 1997. Her areas of interest are Biomedical waste management, Solid waste management and Wastewater management.

She has about 23 years of teaching experience. She has published her research paper in referred National and International Journals. She has published papers in many National and International conferences. Recently she received a best paper award in the "International Conference on Water Resource and Environmental Engineering (ICWREE2019)" at Singapore. She has attended /presented various Seminars, conferences and training programmes related to Civil and Environmental Engineering in IITs, NITs, Coimbatore Corporation meetings for smart city progress etc.

She has shared her knowledge as a resource person in various other colleges in her area of specialization. She is reviewer of "Journal of Ecological Engineering" published by Elsevier; Editorial member of "Journal of Resources And Pollution Studies", and "International Journal of Water Resources and Water Management" published by Mat Journals.

She is a life member of Indian society for Technical Education and Indian Geotechnical Society. She has received "Rashtriya Gaurav award" from International Friendship society in 2017 and "The best Citizens of India award 2017" and "Pride of India award 2018" by International Publishing House.
