Ms. J. Jayashree

Faculty Description

Mrs.J.Jayashree is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Sr.G) in the Department of Civil Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College. She received her Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore in the year 2011 and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from VLB Janakiammal College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore in the year 2009. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering at Government College of Technology, Coimbatore.

She has 10 years of teaching experience. She has published thirteen papers in international journals, two papers in International Conference and one in National Conference. She has carried out consultancy work in the area of Geotechnical Engineering. She has organized various seminars, workshops and guest lectures in the IGS students chapter. Two guest lectures have been delivered by her.

Her area of interest are Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering and Ground improvement techniques. She is a life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS).
