Faculty Description

Dr.Rangeetha.S is currently working as Assistant Professor in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She has completed her PhD from Anna University, Chennai, B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University and received Master's degree in Applied Electronics from Mohamed Sathak Engineering College affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. She has around 18 years of teaching experience & has guided many undergraduate and postgraduate projects. Her areas of interest include VLSI Design, Electric Circuits & Devices and Electromagnetic Fields. Her scholarly contributions include the publication of research papers in prestigious International Journals and Conferences. She has also contributed as resource person and has continually enhanced her professional competencies by completing various online courses and participating in and organizing several workshops and seminars. She has to her credit filed patents related to electronics and allied areas.  She has received certificate of Mentorship for INNOTHON-2021 – A National Level Hackathon organized by Arcane Innovation, Gulzar Group of Institutes, and powered by Yuva Innovators; recognized as ‘IICDC Qualifier’ by INDIA INNOVATION CHALLENGE Design Contest 2018; recognized as ‘Guest of Honour’ by Dalvik Apps and Wecan Education Organization, Mumbai on the occasion of ‘Advanced Computing Tools and Automation Summit’ 2020. She holds life membership in the professional bodies namely, The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) and The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
