Faculty Description

Dr. B. Kalaimathi completed her Ph.D in the specialization of Image Processing in Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering at Anna University, Chennai. She completed her Post Graduate in VLSI Design from Sengunthar College of Engineering, affiliated with Anna University Chennai in 2013 and her under graduate in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Mahendra Engineering College, also affiliated with Anna University Chennai in 2010. She has 10 years of teaching experience and has guided 18 UG projects. She has published 2 SCIE journal, 10 International Journals, 25 Scopus Indexed Conferences papers and 7 papers in National Conferences. She has successfully completed 15 online certification courses in various disciplines, including certifications from NPTEL, BEC-Business English Certification and Coursera.

She has organized more than 30 events, including workshops, seminars, FDP and webinars. She has participated 24 such events as well. She has served as a reviewer for 21 research papers in SCI journals. Her area of interest are Image Processing and Low Power VLSI. She is a life member of ISTE and IAENG. She was the national-level ball badminton winner, representing Anna University in 2009.
