S.Alamelu alias Rajasree is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore. Since joining the institution in 2021, she has been dedicated to teaching, research, and academic mentoring, contributing significantly to engineering education and technological innovation. She obtained her Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering with First Class from Hindusthan Institute of Technology and completed her Master of Engineering in Wireless Communication with Distinction from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. She has published 29 research papers in Scopus-indexed journals and conference proceedings, with 118+ citations and an h-index of 3, and has presented her research at reputed international conferences and in journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Her research contributions have also led to two published patents and one granted patent titled Antenna for Detecting Security Labels, reflecting her commitment to innovation and applied research. She has successfully mentored more than 20 batches of undergraduate student project teams, whose projects have received Best Paper Award at national-level technical symposium. She actively pursues continuous professional development through participation in over 23 Faculty Development Programmes (FDPs), five workshops, and numerous seminars, and has completed professional certification courses offered by MathWorks, SkillUp, and Great Learning. She has organized National level events like workshops, seminars, FDP and webinars. She serves as a Department Quality Assurance Cell (DQAC) Member, is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and has qualified the Preliminary Business English Certificate (BEC) Examination. Her research interests include RF and Microwave Engineering, Antenna Design, Wireless Communication, Satellite Communication, 5G and Beyond Communication Systems, MIMO Systems, and Emerging Wireless Technologies. She is proficient in engineering software tools such as MATLAB, HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, Keysight ADS, SystemVue, and EMPro, enabling her to integrate advanced simulation and design methodologies into teaching and research. She remains committed to fostering academic excellence by inspiring students to engage in innovation, research, and lifelong learning while bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and real-world engineering applications.
