Dr.R.Karthikamani

Faculty Description

Mrs.R.Karthikamani is currently working as an Assistant Professor (Sr.G) in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She completed Master of Engineering from Anna University Regional Centre Coimbatore and B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering from Anna University Chennai.  She is currently pursuing her Ph.D degree under Anna University, Chennai in the area of Medical Image processing. She has 11 years of teaching experience.

She has published 20 research papers in national and international journals indexed in Web of Science, Scopus and Google scholar and 18 papers in national/international conferences. She has presented a paper  in 7th International Conference on Advancements of Medicine and Health Care through Technology (MEDITECH 2020) held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She has filed 8 patents and 4 patents were published. She has attended many FDP, seminar, workshop and short term courses. She has received funds for the "Modernisation of Microprocessor / Microcontroller laboratory for IoT Applications" under the scheme MODROBS from AICTE. She has guided many undergraduate and postgraduate engineering projects. She has organized workshops, seminars and technical events. She is a mentor of Toycathon, India International Science Fest (IISF) Projects. She has completed online courses in NPTEL and COURSERA. Her areas of interest are Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Embedded Systems and Medical Image processing.  She is a member of IEEE, Life member of ISTE and ISRD.
