Dr.R.Karthikamani

Faculty Description

Dr.R.Karthikamani is currently working as an Assistant Professor (SL.G) in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She has received her B.E. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology, Anna University Chennai in the year 2008. She completed Master of Engineering from Anna University Regional Centre Coimbatore in the year 2013 and pursued her doctoral programme at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology with a specialization in Medical Image processing and received her Ph.D. degree in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in 2024. She has 14 years of teaching experience.

She has published more than 30 research papers in national and international journals and International conferences indexed in Web of Science, Scopus and Google scholar. She has filed 8 patents, of which 4 have been granted. She has participated in numerous Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), seminars, workshops, and short-term courses. She received funding under the MODROBS scheme from AICTE for the project titled "Modernisation of Microprocessor/Microcontroller Laboratory for IoT Applications." She has guided several undergraduate and postgraduate engineering projects, and has organized workshops, seminars, and technical events. She has also completed online certification courses through NPTEL and Coursera.  She is a Life time member of ISTE and ISRD. She has acted as an expert member in Board of Studies and technical committee member/reviewer in International Conferences and journals. Her areas of interest are Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, Embedded Systems , IoT and Medical Image processing.
