Faculty Description

Mr.M.Selvaganesh is currently working as Assistant Professor in Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. He has received Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Nehru Institute of Technology, Coimbatore. He has received Master’s degree (with distinction) in VLSI Design at College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai.  He had one year research experience on Testing of VLSI Circuits while pursuing Master’s Degree in College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai. He received the Best Project” award for his undergraduate project. He has successfully completed “Summer Faculty Research Fellowship – SFRF 2023” at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi during May 2023 – July 2023.

 

He has 5.8 year of teaching experience and published an Indian patent and grants for his works. He has presented more than 13 research papers in reputed International Conferences and bagged the Best Paper Award” in the conference organized by Springer. He has published three book chapters and article in Springer and Elsevier. He is the Department coordinator for AICTE IDEA Lab and organized number of skill enhancement programs to school students, teachers, polytechnic students, government ITI students and other Engineering college students and faculty members. He has organized a workshop in association with “Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi”. His main research interests are Analog VLSI Circuits, Sensor Technologies and AI/ML. He is also a life member of ISTE.

He has mentored more than 20 batches of student teams for their Mini Projects and Academic projects. He has meticulously motivating the students to solve industrial problems through the Hackathons and won the following accolades “Special Mention Award with 50k Cash Price in GE Precision Health Challenge 2022, Winner at Smart India Hackathon- 2023 with 1 lakh Cash Price, Winner at 5G Hackathon -2024 with 1 lakh Cash Price organised by GE healthcare and Nasscom and Participated in Techgium 7th Edition Finale - 2024 organized by L&T Technology Services”.
