Dr.M.Jagadeeswari has completed her Ph.D from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Anna University Chennai in 2011, ME (Applied Electronics) from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, Bharathiyar University in 1999 and B.E (ECE) from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, Bharathiyar University in 1992. She is presently working as Professor and Head in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. She has 25 years of academic and 15 years of research experience.
She has received certificate of merit for scoring highest mark in BASIC ENGINEERING in the April'89 examinations held at Government College of Technology, Coimbatore and Marquis Who's Who (USA) has selected her profile for including in the "who is who in World" in 30th Pearl Anniversary Edition 2013.
She has guided many Undergraduate and Postgraduate projects. She has published over 50 papers in peer reviewed and referred National/International Journals and 30 papers in National/ International Conferences and Two book Chapters published by Springer. She has been awarded the distinguished faculty award for her contribution in the field of VLSI and Embedded Systems by Venus International Foundation. She has filed 4 patents and has won many "Best Paper" awards.
Her research interests include Hardware/Software Co-design, Evolutionary Algorithms, Embedded Systems, VLSI Design and its applications in RF, Image and Video Processing.
She has received grants from AICTE under Research Promotion schemes as Principal Investigator for the project titled "Hardware Software Co-synthesis of embedded system design" during 2010-2013 to a tune of Rs.9.00 Lakhs and also another project as Principal Investigator titled "Development of Efficient Architecture for Noise Removal in Real time Medical Images", during 2017-2020 to a tune of Rs.14.2 Lakhs. She has also fetched grants from AICTE, BRNS, ISRO and Anna University for organizing National Conferences, Refresher Programmes, Seminars and Faculty development programmes to a tune of Rs.10 Lakhs.
She has organized many programmes and has delivered many invited talks to both faculty and students. She is a life member of ISTE, Fellow of IETE and Member of ACS. She is currently guiding research scholars leading to Ph.D degree in Anna University Chennai and 2 scholars have completed their Ph.D. She is also a reviewer for International Journal (Taylor's series) and has reviewed papers for National/International Conferences.
