Dr.S.Jayanthy has received her
Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Government
College of Technology, Coimbatore in 1990. She received her Master's degree in
Applied Electronics from PSG College of Technology in 2001. She has been awarded
Ph.D degree from Anna University, Chennai in 2012. Presently, she is working as
Professor in Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. Teaching
being her passion, she has 27 years of experience in teaching a wide range of
subjects in the domains of VLSI Design, Microcontrollers, Networks,
Communication, Computer architecture, Embedded systems & IOT and 4 years of
experience in industry. Her research interests are in VLSI Design &
Testing, Embedded systems, AI/ML and IOT. She has published 61 research papers
in peer reviewed Journals and presented many research papers in National and
International Conferences. She has authored a book with Springer Nature,
Singapore titled, “ Test generation of crosstalk delay faults in VLSI Circuits”.
She has been granted two patent in the area of embedded systems &IOT and
owns to her credit three embedded system training manuals as IPRs.
She has received grants from ANNA University, Chennai and AICTE, New Delhi for Research Promotion scheme and Faculty development programmes. She has done consultancy works in the area of embedded programming for Automobile Instrumentation clusters for industries. She is a resource person for embedded systems to train Industry experts. One product for home automation mentored by her has been commercialised by an industry. Student teams mentored have won accolades in few national level innovation contests. She has completed number of NPTEL courses and has received NPTEL Discipline star. She has reviewed papers for IEEE Transactions on VLSI systems, IEEE Access, International Journal of Modelling and Simulation, Journal of Sustainable Electric and Communications Systems, Journal of Supercomputing and acted as a reviewer for a number of International conferences. She is a life member of ISTE and Fellow of IETE. As a recognized supervisor of ANNA University, Chennai she is guiding research scholars in the area of VLSI Design, Embedded Systems and AI/ML.
