Faculty Description

Dr. H.Vidhya is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College. She received her B.E.,degree (with Distinction) in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Erode Sengunthar Engineering College, Erode, India in 2010. She received her M.E., degree (with Distinction) in Power Electronics and Drives from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, India in 2016. Currently, She is pursuing her Ph.D in the field of Electric Vehicles as a part time Scholar in Anna University, Chennai. She has 8 years of teaching experience. She has attended two international conferences, published two papers in international conferences, nine papers in international journals. She has also attended eight faculty development programs, many workshops, short term courses and seminars organized by various reputed institutions like IIT's, IISC and NIT. She is one of the authors for the book chapter titled "Review on Thyristor-Controlled Series Capacitor (TCSC)". She has received copyright for two laboratory manuals. She has completed six online courses in NPTEL and twelve courses in coursera to her credit. Her field of interest includes Electrical Machines, Power Electronics and Drives, and Special Electrical Machines. She is a lifetime member of ISTE.
