Faculty Description

Mr. B. Sridhar is currently working as Assistant Professor (Sl.G) in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore. He has 15 years of teaching experience. He completed his B.E in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal (Anna University, Chennai) in the year 2008. He completed his M.E in Power Electronics and Drives from Paavai Engineering College, Namakkal (Anna University, Chennai) in the year 2012. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D degree under Anna University, Chennai in the area of Electric Vehicle.

He received the “Excellence in Student Mentorship Award” from AMET University, Chennai and the “Best Faculty Advisor Award” from the Institution of Engineers (India), Hosur Local Chapter. He has been awarded as the "Innovation Ambassador'' by MOE IIC New Delhi. He is a peer reviewer in Journal “Electric Power Components and Systems” Taylor & Francis Online. He has received fund from Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) for organizing a National level Workshop. He has received fund under Student Project Scheme 2023 from the TNSCST (Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology).

 His research interests are Power Electronics and Electric Vehicles. He has published 12 research papers in reputed peer-reviewed international, national journals and conference proceedings. He has attended more than 15 Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and short-term courses organized by various reputed institutions. He has successfully organized numerous academic events, including workshops, symposiums, international conferences and national-level technical exhibitions. He is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), International Association of Engineers (IAENG) and International Association of Innovations in Engineering Education (IAIEEE).
