Mr.B.Marisekar is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore. He received his B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Park College of Engineering and Technology, Coimbatore and completed his M.E. in Power Systems Engineering from M. Kumarasamy College of Engineering, Karur. He is presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Anna University with a focus on Power System Restructuring. With over 11 years of teaching experience, he has published research papers in national and international conferences and journals, including IEEE and Scopus-indexed proceedings. He also holds a design patent related to electrical systems.
He is proficient in several software tools including Power World
Simulator, PSAT, ETAP and MATLAB. He has actively organized seminars,
workshops, industrial visits, and national level technical events. He has
completed numerous online courses through NPTEL, Coursera, and L&T EduTech
and participated in various FDPs, STTPs, and AICTE-ATAL training programs. His
research interests include Power System Simulation, Smart Grid Technologies,
and Deregulated Electricity Markets. He is a Life Member of ISTE and a Member
of IAENG.
