Faculty Description

Mr. R. Mohan Kumar is the Assistant Professor (Sr.G) in the department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. He has 12 years of teaching experience. He completed his UnderGraduate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering branch from Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology, Coimbatore and his Post Graduate degree in Information and Communication Systems (Applied Electronics) from Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D under Anna University, Chennai in the area of Renewable Energy Systems.

He had published papers in 04 National Conferences, 01 International Conference and 05 papers in Scopus Indexed Journals. He has guided 10 UG student's projects. He has attended more than 20 Faculty Development Programs (FDP's) and 40 workshops/seminars organized by various reputed institutions like IIT's, IISC, NIT's, etc.

He has completed the Cambridge English Business Preliminary Exam. He has completed 07 online courses in NPTEL, 14 online courses in COURSERA, 04 online courses in UDEMY, 02 online course in MATLAB and 4 online courses in Tata Steel Industry. His area of interest is Electrical Machines and Renewable Energy Systems. He is a Life member of ISTE and IAENG.
