Dr. Nithya Christopher

Faculty Description

Dr. Nithya Christopher is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. She completed her Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Periyar University. She completed her Masters' degree (with Certificate of Merit) in MTech Nano Science & Technology from Sharda University, Greater Noida. She completed her Ph.D. from Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR) at CSIR – National Physical Laboratory, New Delhi. She has worked in various research projects from funding agency of Department of Science & Technology, (DST-WOS(A)) as a principal investigator and as a research associate of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR), of Government of India. She has published several research papers in reputed high impact international journals of Elsevier, Springer, IOP Publishing, etc. She has contributed to several National and international conferences including a best poster presentation award (1st Prize) at the National Seminar on Functional and Smart Materials. She has organized several seminars, internships and workshops. Research interest includes material science, nanotechnology, advanced magnetic materials, and sustainable energy materials. She has around 11 years of industrial, research and teaching experience.
