Faculty Description

Ms.R.K.Ragavapriya is currently working as Assistant Professor (Sr.G) in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College. She did her B.E degree in Instrumentation and Control Engineering from Adhiyamaan Engineering College, Periyar University Hosur in April 2004. She completed her M.E degree (with distinction) in Power Electronics and Drives from Government College of Technology, Anna University, Coimbatore in April 2009.  She has registered Ph.D degree in Anna University, Chennai in January 2015. She has 11 years of teaching experience.

Her areas of interests include Control Systems, Power Electronic Drives and Control, Robotics and Automation, Electron devices, Artificial intelligence, Process instrumentation, Optimal control and Biomedical Instrumentation. She has published papers in 02 international journals and 03 International Conference. She is a life member of ISTE and IAE.

She has mentored a project for TATA CRUSIBLES 2020 - HACKETHON which won the TITLE WINNER of Southern zone and a cash prize of Rs.70,000/- as. She has mentored projects in hackathons for national contests organized by MHRD SAMADHAN Covid 19 and the ideation was listed in TOP 10 Ideas. She also mentored L&T Techgium 2018, 2019 and attempted POC. She has organized and attended various workshops and short term courses and webinar series in her area of expertise.
