AI Build Application Development Bootcamp
The Department of Information Technology at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, in association with VGM Soft Tech, successfully organized the “AI Build Application Development Bootcamp” for 140 students of II IT on 03.03.2026 and 04.03.2026.
Following the bootcamp, 12 teams were shortlisted for the Appathon conducted on 05.03.2026 at the iOS Mobile Application Development Laboratory. After an exciting round of innovation and rapid prototyping, three teams emerged as winners, receiving ₹1000 AI subscription vouchers for Google products. The winning teams were also offered in-house internship opportunities with incentives from VGM Soft Tech, Coimbatore.
The event provided students with hands-on experience in AI-powered mobile application development, strengthened problem-solving and prototyping skills, and encouraged team collaboration and innovative thinking.
