Dr. N. Saranya is currently an Assistant Professor (Sl.Gr) in the Department of Information Technology. She completed her PhD. research in Image Processing at Anna University, Chennai, in 2024. She obtained her Master of Technology in Information Technology from Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore, in 2011 and her Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore, in 2009. With 17 years of teaching experience, her areas of expertise include Programming, Data Structures, Data Mining, Image Processing, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. She has actively participated in various Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), seminars and workshops, and has presented research papers at national and international conferences. Additionally, she has published 9 papers in Scopus-indexed journals. She successfully passed the TalentNext Certification Assessment (WCF - Wipro Certified Faculty) and is recognized as a mentor for Project-Based Learning (PBL) in Java J2EE. She also serves as an NVIDIA DLI
Ambassador for the course “Fundamentals of Deep Learning.” Dr. Saranya is a life member of CSI and ISTE. She is also affiliated with the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT) and the International Association of Engineers (IAENG).
