Faculty Description

She  is an accomplished academician with over 10 years of teaching experience in engineering education, specializing in Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Anna University with research focused on advanced computing technologies. She obtained her M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering with distinction from Karpagam University and her B.Tech. in Information Technology from Anna University. Throughout her academic career, she has been committed to delivering high-quality education, mentoring students, and promoting innovation-driven learning. She has published several research papers in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals and international conferences and has actively contributed to multidisciplinary research in AI-enabled healthcare, precision agriculture, intelligent surveillance, and smart systems. An active innovator, she has published seven patents, including one design patent that has been granted, covering areas such as intelligent healthcare systems, IoT-based electric vehicle charging, cybersecurity, computer vision, multilingual assistive technologies, intelligent surveillance, and smart transportation systems. She continuously upgrades her expertise through professional development and has successfully completed NPTEL Elite, Silver, and Topper certifications in Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Deep Learning, Python for Data Science, Design Thinking, and Foundation of Cloud IoT Edge ML. She has also earned industry certifications from IBM, Infosys Springboard, and MongoDB in Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, OpenAI GPT Models, and Full Stack Database Development. She has successfully organized numerous faculty development programmes, workshops, guest lectures, seminars, and industry interaction sessions to enhance academic excellence and industry collaboration. She has guided students in Smart India Hackathon (SIH), MSME Idea Hackathon, startup innovation initiatives, and multidisciplinary project development, encouraging innovation, entrepreneurship, and research culture among engineering students.
