Assistant Professor
He obtained his doctoral degree in 2013 from the College of Engineering Guindy (CEG), Anna University, Chennai. He completed his M.Phil in 2004 from the same institution. He earned his M.Sc. in 2003 from Annamalai University, Chidambaram and his B.Sc. in 2000 from Government Arts College, Dharmapuri affiliated with the University of Madras. He has over 13 years of teaching experience and 3 years of industrial experience.
He began his professional career as a Scientist at Jubilant Biosys Ltd, Bangalore in 2004. He later served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Dr. Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology (Autonomous), Pollachi in 2013 and Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (Autonomous), Coimbatore in 2016. Subsequently, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at NGM College (Autonomous), Pollachi in 2018. Currently, he is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (Autonomous), Coimbatore, since 2026.
He has also gained international research experience as a Visiting Research Scholar for one year under Prof. P. R. Sundararajan at Department of Chemistry, Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. This research tenure was supported by the Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship awarded by the Government of Canada. He has more than twelve years of research experience in the fields of Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Polymer Chemistry. His research interests include Organic Chemistry, Polymer Membranes, Nanocomposites and High-Performance Polymers.
He has published research articles in reputed international journals such as Chemical Engineering Journal and Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research. He is a recognized research supervisor under Anna University, Chennai and Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He has successfully guided one research scholar (PhD) under Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Additionally, he has actively participated in numerous Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops and national and international conferences and seminars.
