Dr. R. Sudhakar
obtained his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai in
2018. He earned his Master’s degree in Advanced Manufacturing Technology from
Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Anna University, Chennai in 2008, and his
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering
College, Anna University, Chennai in 2005.
He
brings over 15 years and 6 months of teaching experience at Sri Ramakrishna
Engineering College, along with 2 years of industry experience in the field of
Quality Assurance and Metrology. His areas of interest include Welding
Automation, Mechatronics, and Robotics. His research focuses on Welding
Processes, Mechatronic System Design, Fluid Power Automation, Manufacturing,
and Simulation.
Dr.
Sudhakar has organized several technical events, including the National Level Student Robot Championship
Workshop & Competition and ASIMOV
– A National Level Robot Technical Hunt. He has presented papers at both
national and international conferences and has published nine research papers
in Web of Science and Scopus-indexed journals. He also serves as a peer
reviewer for reputed journals such as the International
Journal of Material Processing Technology, Industrial Robot, and Assembly
Automation.
He
holds copyrights for laboratory instruction manuals in Mechatronics Engineering, Dynamics,
and Industrial Control Systems. He
teaches a variety of courses, including Digital
Twin & Industry 4.0, Autonomous
Vehicles, Fluid Power Automation,
Industrial Robotics, Bio Inspired Robotics and Industrial Control Systems.
Dr.
Sudhakar is a recognized Ph.D. supervisor under Anna University, Chennai (Ref.
No: 4020056), with specialization in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics,
Robotics, and Industrial Automation. He is also a life member of the Indian
Society for Technical Education (ISTE), the International Association of
Engineers (IAENG), and The Robotics Society of India (TRS).
