Dr.G.Hemalatha

Faculty Description

Dr. G. Hemalatha obtained her Ph.D. from Anna University Chennai in 2025. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore in 2010. She received her Master's degree in Energy engineering from Kumaraguru Institute of Technology, Coimbatore in 2012. 

She has 16 years of experience in teaching various subjects like Electric machines and Drives, Industrial Automation, Sensors and instrumentation, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, and 4 years of experience in the industry as a production supervisor. She has attended 05 national conferences. She has published 4 papers in international journals, and 5 papers in Scopus journals.  She has attended STTP on Electric Power Systems at IIT Kharagpur.She authored two books and holds 1 patent to his credit. She has completed 05 online courses in NPTEL,She has attended 10 FDP and 04 workshops/seminars organized by various reputed institutions. she is a life member of  The Robotics Society (India).Her area of interest is Renewable energy sources, DC microgrid, Smart grid, control systems, etc.
