Mr. A. Peniel Winifred Raj

Mr. A. Peniel Winifred Raj obtained his Master's degree in Robotics and Automation from Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Coimbatore in 2022, and his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College, Coimbatore in 2020. He has around three years of teaching experience at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College. His research focuses on Deep Learning and Path Planning for Mobile Robotics, and his areas of interest include Artificial Intelligence, Mobile Robots, Robot Operating Systems (ROS2), and 3D Printing.

He has published five research papers in reputed journals and one paper in a Scopus-indexed international conference. In recognition of his research innovation, he received a Bronze Medal in 2021. He also won 1st place in the Techgium 8th Edition 2025, conducted by L&T Technology Services (LTTS), for his project titled "Mini Propelled Underwater Autonomous Robot". He attended the prestigious ROSCon 2024 conference held at IISc Bangalore, gaining valuable insights into the global advancements in Robot Operating Systems. Additionally, he has participated in several training programs and workshops on Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Python Programming, and Robot Operating Systems, along with Faculty Development Programs on Recent Advancements in Robotics and Automation, Industry 4.0, and Python for Scientific Computing.

He handles courses such as Machine Learning for Robotics, Sensors in Automation, Artificial Intelligence for Robotics, Automation Technology, Robot Operating Systems, Wheeled Mobile Robot, and Smart Factory Laboratory. He is a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and The Robotics Society (India).
