Ms. K. Roobini

Faculty Description

Ms. K. Roobini serves as an Assistant Professor in the Robotics and Automation department. She attained her M.E. in Industrial Automation & Robotics from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Erode, in 2021, following her B.E. in Mechatronics Engineering from Salem College of Engineering and Technology, Salem, in 2019. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD at Anna University, Chennai, focusing on Path Planning.

In 2022, she achieved notable success by securing the Medal for India - 1, a Bronze Medal in INDUSTRIAL 4.0 at the BRICS Skill Competition. The following year, in 2023, she continued her impressive streak with an Excellent Prize in INDUSTRIAL 4.0 at the same competition. Additionally, she represented India as an Expert in the International final of the industrial design Technology category at the 2023 BRICS Future Skill Competition.

Her areas of interest encompass PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), Autonomous Mobile Robots, Robot Machine Vision, and Mechatronics.
