Acquainting the visionaries of our association's journey – Robotics and Automation Association
The significance which is in unity is an eternal wonder – Rabindranath Tagore. As the adage states, the concept of unity leading to an "Eternal wonder" highlights collecting efforts' lasting impact and transformative nature. In a world where technology propels us forward, this association serves as a nexus for those captivated by the realms of Robotics and Automation. As gears interlock to set complex mechanisms into motion, this association interconnects curious minds, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation and creativity flourish. The inauguration and induction of the office bearers for the academic year 2023-2024, which unfolded on August 17th, 2023, stands as a testament to the dedication and passion that our students bring to the field of Robotics and Automation. The event started by displaying a glimpse of the exceptional works of the Robotics and Automation Association. The occasion progressed as the flame flickered, seamlessly blending tradition and symbolism into a harmonious tableau. Arshini Sai. H, final year student and joint secretary of RAA delivered the welcome address for the auspicious occasion.
The presidential address was given by Dr. A. Murugarajan, Professor and Head of the Department of Robotics and Automation. He gave a detailed description of the department and the plethora of events organized under the Robotics and Automation Association. He also emphasized the current situation of the students and motivated them to participate in the upcoming club activities.
Just as a skilled artist uses a palette to create a masterpiece, our organization thrives on its members' diverse talents, Ideas, and enthusiasm. We embraced the new chapter that unfolds with the induction of our office bearers, 2023-2024. Nirmal. P, Secretary of RAA, guided us through the remarkable initiatives, projects, and progress that defined the organization's impact. Our chief guest was Mr. C. V. Ganapathi Subramanian, currently serving as the Managing Director at Bharat Balancing Weights Pvt Ltd in Coimbatore, a Tier 1 supplier to prominent OEMs such as Toyota, Maruti Suzuki, Daimler, and many others. His journey showcases a remarkable blend of academic excellence, professional achievements, and impactful leadership that has made a lasting mark on the industry. He addressed the aspirations of individuals eagerly awaiting employment, highlighting their unfulfilled prospects despite the abundance of job opportunities worldwide. He interacted with the students, provided valuable insights towards reaching their goal, and gave a perception towards starting a start-up.
An event of unprecedented significance took center stage as the curtain rose on the grand unveiling of the Asimov Vol – 1 Issue 5 newsletter, an awe-inspiring spectacle of the academic year 2022-2023. The toppers of the Department of Robotics and Automation were recognized for their achievements, whose tireless efforts in the field of education have paved the way for young minds to shine and succeed. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, which was proposed by Mrs. N. Dheerthi, Faculty Coordinator of the Robotics and Automation Association. That was a tremendous introduction of the RA Association for the academic year 2023-2024, paving the way for wonderful and experiential learning for future endeavors.
