Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

Keeping in view the need for maintaining the momentum of quality, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) is functioning in the Institution. The Goals of IQAC -

To develop a quality system for conscious, consistent and catalytic programmed action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the college.
To promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internationalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.

IQAC Quality Objective

To establish academic and industry linkages to make our education more practical oriented through innovative teaching learning methods
To encourage our faculty to organize/attend FDPs, Summer/winter Schools, Seminars and workshops to upgrade their knowledge and skills to impart quality education to our students.
To develop self-reliant learning practices among faculty members and students.
To conduct research and development activities, extension activities, collaborative research leading to solutions for various industry problems.
To ensure good number of student participation in inter-collegiate and national level co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
To motivate the students towards total personality development and to mould them as responsible citizens.

Functions of IQAC

Identifying best practices that will significantly contribute to the development of the Institution
Developing own benchmarking for quality
Collecting information about the participation in various events by both faculty and students and documentation of the same
Obtaining feedback from various stakeholders for improvement in the system
Identifying new research areas suiting to the needs
Survey on need based/customized programs
Conduct of Academic Audits
All round development of the Institution with good and sustainable quality
