In a world driven by innovation and cutting-edge advancements, it becomes imperative to acquaint oneself with these pivotal domains. This groundbreaking symposium was conducted on the 10th and 11th of August, aimed at catalyzing collaborative endeavors in the fields of Engineering, Science, and Research. This remarkable conference, orchestrated by the Departments of Physics and Biomedical Engineering bore the noble intention of delving into innovative technology and materials, ushering in new horizons of knowledge.
The distinguished keynote speaker for this occasion was the luminary Dr. K. Kadhirvelu Scientist' F' and OIC DRDO - BU, Centre for Life Sciences Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. His discourse resonated profoundly, wherein he not only extolled the efforts of the organizers but also effusively praised the educational landscape and myriad opportunities our Nation affords. His sagacious reflections on our country's socio-economic fabric were indeed enlightening. Furthermore, he expounded upon the indispensable importance of healthcare, especially underscored during the exigencies of the COVID-19 pandemic. He elucidated his insights with remarkable eloquence, notably focusing on topics like bio-materials and nanotechnologies.
Among the other eminent scholars and visionaries who graced the podium and rendered this conference indelible were subject experts such as Dr. E.K. Girija from Periyar University, Dr. R. Selvakumar from PSG College of Technology, who heads Biotechnology and Nanotechnology, along with Dr. M. Ananthasubramanian, a revered Professor in Biotechnology at PSG College of Technology. Not to be overlooked is the erudite presence of Dr. V. Ragavendran from the Department of Physics.
Our esteemed Head of the Department, Dr. V. Ramamurthy, adeptly helmed a session, enriching the intellectual discourse.
A memento was presented to the chief guest by the erudite Professor Dr. R. Kesavasamy from the Department of Chemistry and Dr. L. Ragunath, from the Department of Chemistry, proposed a vote of thanks.
Several colleges from all over Tamil Nadu enthusiastically participated in this two-day National Conference. The presentations delivered by these academic institutions were not only compelling but also visually captivating. A denouement marked by certificate distribution celebrated the diligent participants at the culmination of the event.
