In a world where formal education and degrees are often regarded as the sole measures of knowledge, it is imperative to break free from these conventional boundaries and embrace the limitless opportunities that lie ahead. Recognizing this need, our college has embarked on a new venture by introducing Specialization Courses across 7 different departments, along with 2 Minor courses. 

In celebration of this milestone, our institution recently organized a Joint Industry Certification Distribution Ceremony for the B.E/B.Tech students of the 2020-2024 batch. 

The esteemed guest of honour for the event was Mr. Pravin Swaminathan, the Head of Software Business and Product Management, IAP region at Stellantis, Bengaluru. Mr. Swaminathan presented 107 students who successfully completed their courses. In his thought-provoking speech, the chief guest emphasized constant learning and staying updated with industry expectations. He reiterated problem-solving and product development in a cross-disciplinary manner as the opportunities in the industry are aplenty.

The primary objective of these specialization courses is to offer knowledge that extends beyond the confines of a basic degree. Students enrolled in these programs receive intensive training focused on the latest industry trends and cutting-edge technologies. By providing practical exposure and first-hand experience, these courses aim to equip students with the skills necessary to tackle real-life challenges. Upon successful completion of the specialization courses, students are also granted internship opportunities at renowned companies, allowing them to apply their newly acquired knowledge in a professional setting.

In recognition of academic excellence, exceptional performers from various departments were honoured with gift hampers. The joy and elation visible on the faces of these students served as a testament to the value of their achievements, making these moments truly cherished. 

By offering specialization courses and nurturing a holistic educational environment, SREC strives to empower its students to go beyond the boundaries of traditional education, enabling them to reach their full potential and thrive in the ever-evolving world of modern industry.
