“Learning is a continuous process; value-adding to it is essential for success,” likewise, one of the unique features of SREC is the value-added courses that are offered to the students to improvise on their skills and technical knowledge in various domains of engineering. These courses are designed to complement the curriculum and provide hands-on training and exposure to the latest technologies and tools, making the students industry-ready and employable.
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at SREC offered five value-add courses for the II -Year students on the 27th and 28th of April 2022.
The courses were:
• Hands-on training on VR
• Embedded system designs
• Lab view-based data acquisition
• PCB layout designing and fabrication
• PLC Design
These value-added courses were conducted by experienced faculty members. The courses were offered in flexible timings and durations to suit the convenience of the students. The courses provided assessments and certifications for the students.
“By completing these courses, the students, with utmost thirst to attain superior skills, can make their careers highly successful by investing in themselves.” The value-added courses at SREC are a great opportunity for II-Year students to gain practical skills and knowledge that would help them in their academic projects and career prospects. The courses also helped the students to develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, team-building, and communication skills.
