EKKLESIA'24: Igniting Innovation and Ideas
The energy was electric, the ideas were boundless, and on October 1st, 2024, EKKLESIA'24 took the stage, capturing the essence of brilliance at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College!
Hosted by the Department of Biomedical Engineering, this national-level technical symposium wasn’t just an event - it was a movement. From the moment the day kicked off, you could feel the pulse of creativity and collaboration.
The event was presided over by our wonderful chief guests, Ms. R. Niveditha B.E., CTO & Co-founder of AllReal (Machenn), Coimbatore, and Mr. S.T.B. Prabhu K. Karthi M.Tech, Senior Assistant Vice President (Google Cloud) at HSBC Global Bank, Bengaluru, who is also an alumnus of our department. They shared their experiences, milestones, and success stories from the industry, shedding light on exciting possibilities in healthcare and offering invaluable career guidance.
On this special occasion, the department's souvenir for the academic year 2024-2025 was released, showcasing the students’ achievements. Additionally, the IEEE-EMBS monthly newsletter, Medico Times Vol. 4, Issue 3 for September '24, packed with fresh insights, breakthroughs, and creative blogs from students, was also unveiled.
With students and young innovators from across the state converging in one space, EKKLESIA'24 became a playground for innovative ideas and creative activities. It wasn't merely about showcasing projects or pitching concepts; it was about exploring new frontiers and rethinking what's possible. Conversations flowed freely through technical and non-technical events, covering everything from cutting-edge prototypes to solutions for real-world challenges. Some events also helped participants unravel common scientific myths with real-world facts, leaving them in awe of the knowledge they gained!
The vibe? Pure excitement. Buzzing hallways were filled with conversations spanning futuristic technologies to mind-bending concepts. The room was alive with enthusiasts pitching their wildest visions, explaining their prototypes, and engaging in thought-provoking challenges that sparked fresh insights at every turn. As the day unfolded, friendships were formed, innovations were celebrated, and belief in the power of science and imagination grew stronger. Whether you came with an idea or left with a spark, this event stayed with you long after the final applause.
One thing's for sure - EKKLESIA'24 wasn’t just a date on the calendar. It was the place where the future came one step closer, and every heart and soul of the department contributed to its success. We’re already counting down the days to the next edition - EKKLESIA'25!
